The Robert Emmet Medallion, more commonly called the “Irish Dollar” has been in production for over 50 years. Release of the commemorative coin has been announced by the St. Patrick’s Association.
The image of Robert Emmet shows the Irish Patriot holding his saber with speaking out, Be Cautious, Be Silent.
The reverse side is identical to previous medallions, featuring the crossed flags of Ireland and the United States, depicting unity between the two countries.
